I've ALWAYS struggled with things being too complicated. I like to keep things REAL simple. In this course, I'll show you how to make an improv "roadmap" based solely on chord tones and important melody notes.
If you've never heard me say it before, I'll scream it from the rooftoops for as long as I live:
"Learn the melody to every song you play!!"
The melody is the key to everything. It's the answer to your most favorite question: "what do I play over this?" Learning the melody, and understanding how the melody notes become the chord tones is how you make your lead lines "sound like the song."
This approach - inspired by this music - changed my playing forever. It is my sincere wish that it inspires your playing in the same way it did for me.
In this course, I'll show you how to make an improv "roadmap" based soley on chord tones and important melody notes. Each of the songs lessons consists of three (3) parts:
The Song's Triad Structure
The Melodic Structure
The Improvisation Roadmap
This approach will drastically simplify your lead guitar approach. To be honest, I rarely think of full scales any more. It's quite simply: "What are the notes in the chord? Let's target them."
I can't wait to see you inside.
Thanks so much, best of luck, & keep it in your hands :)
